Great news. Our PayPal issues have been resolved. It seems that PayPal has implemented some new rules that means that customers from overseas cannot buy items from a site in the Philippines and get the item shipped to the Philippines. A nightmare for both us and all the people that want to get flowers delivered in the Philippines with a secure PayPal payment.

The good news

You can now pay by credit card for your items at Tin's Flower Shop via PayPal. No issues.

The not so good news

If you wish to pay via you PayPal account you can shop via our site as per usual - pick you items - add your addresses and select pay by PayPal. You will then be taken to PayPal where you must select your own address (invoice address) as the shipping address - do not attempt to add (again) the Philippines delivery address. PayPal wont let you (see the reason below).

Don't worry the Tin's Flower Shop site already has your delivery address from the check out process.

Info from PayPal Customer Support about the problem

Dear Tin,

Buyers can use PayPal in the Philippines and can also ship to Philippines, it's just those cases where the funding instrument (card used) is from a specific country, like could be the Arab Emirates, that is not accepted to have a shipping address into the Philippines.

If a buyer uses a card from a country which allows to ship in the Philippines then it will be fine, but for example like the case I saw in the logs the buyer used a card issued in the UAE, which does not allow to have a shipping address in to the Philippines.

So it depends case by case.

If you send an invoice or a payment request it should work fine as there is not the same flow for card payments.
